This project was to relocate various existing underground infrastructure away from the new highway alignment where design conflicts existed. There was 30+ bores completed on this project. The most notable being a 330m long bore in rock, 22 metres deep under a steep hill and adjacent gully. The bore enables the relocation of existing signal cable where the future excavation for a new bridge was planned to realign the ARTC north coast rail line over the new Pacific Highway alignment.
