Constant liaison with local, state and federal agencies enables CCURB to have the most up to date information, implement it into our work procedures and train our personnel on them.

CCURB is regularly engaged on federally funded projects which have strict entry compliance assessments.

We hold numerous trade licences, permits to work near the various asset owners (Telstra, Optus, AArnet, Nextgen, etc)

Internal and external audits close the information feedback to facilitate ongoing improvements. Regular training (internal and external) continuously adds additional formal expertise to our team.

Environment

CCURB is committed to undertaking our activities in an environmentally responsible manner and effectively managing any risk that may impact on the environment. CCURB manages our work activities in a manner that is consistent with the principles of ecologically sustainable development. We take all steps necessary to ensure that our activities do not compromise our commitment which gets the highest priority from all our team members. Everyone monitors the continued effective installation and operation of environmental controls within the scope of our day to day work and over the course of our project until full restoration has been achieved.

Each of our worksites is assessed for the potential impact on the environment and controls are implemented prior to any commencement of works, in accordance with a site specific CEMP. Plant and materials are readily available with our teams to mitigate and control any possible harm to the environment.

CCURB is a responsible contractor that closely complies with the environmental legislation. The waste generated by our operations is stored, transported and disposed of in accordance with the law. Our waste is tracked up to its final destination.

Occupational Health and Safety

CCURB values the health and wellbeing of all the people impacted by our operations and the public surrounding our work sites. Our safety management systems have been developed in consultation with the latest legislation and our employees to ensure that they are best fit for our teams, clients and the task on hand.
Safe Work Method Statements (‘SWMS’) have been developed by all the company workers to suit all possible work scenarios.
Our daily team pre-start meetings ensure that all the personnel working are well informed on the activities, risks and the controls we have in place. Our daily plant pre-start checklists ensures the safe condition of our plant before each use.
